At the clinic, Tala's fear returns, but the doctor draws her attention to a display of balloons on the wall and asks her to count them. While Tala is doing so, she administers the vaccination, which Tala doesn't feel at all. Later, it's Jad's turn to get vaccinated, and it turns out he, too, is afraid of the needle. Tala tries to ease his fear, using the same approach he and the doctor had taken.

Mama has to travel suddenly to be with the sick grandmother. She advises Jad and Tala to behave well and asks them to tell her everything that happens to them when she returns home.

Jad and Tala's father is a veterinarian with his own clinic. One summer holiday, his assistant falls ill and is absent, saddening their father as he needs help. Jad and Tala offer to go with him and help, dividing the tasks between them: Jad assists in the examination room, and Tala sees patients. Visitors begin arriving with their animals: Jalal comes with his tortoise, Mrs. Farida with her dog Bobby, who causes quite a disturbance in the clinic, Fatina with her cat Zizi, and Mr. Saeed with his parrot. Father treats all the animals, and the waiting room empties. But a surprise awaits at the clinic. There's a knock at the door, and it's the Bedouin girl, Nashma, who arrives with her camel, Jassim, for Father to examine in the clinic's courtyard because it's too large to enter. Jad and Tala successfully complete this task, demonstrating a high level of responsibility.
Jad and Tala Series - Mama's Cake
Jad and Tala worked together to bake an orange cake as a surprise for Mom for Mother's Day. They gathered the necessary ingredients: butter, eggs, sugar, oil, and flour. They mixed everything together, and then Dad put the ingredients in an electric mixer. When Mom came home from university, she knew there was a surprise because of the aroma of the cake that filled the house. Jad gave her his gift, and Tala sang her a song for the occasion. Then they all started eating the cake. They noticed a strange taste, and Mom realized they had substituted salt for sugar. Jad started accusing his sister, and Tala began to cry. Dad tried to comfort her by telling her about a similar incident that happened when he was little, where he put salt in his coffee instead of sugar and served it to his parents. But the joy wasn't over, as Mom had prepared a tub of ice cream, and they all ate it together in the garden.
